This declaration is provided in accordance with the European Union (Provision of Food Information to Consumers) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No. 489 of 2014), implementing Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011. Uniquely among most EU states, Ireland requires allergen information for non-prepacked food to be given in WRITING before a customer completes their purchase — a customer should never have to ask.
