Google Ads — Advertise Your Restaurant on One Screen
The Google Ads section lets you run ads for your venue in Google Search and monitor their performance without juggling a dozen tabs in the ads manager. Connect your Google Ads account once, then create campaigns and read reports right inside the admin panel.
Open: Admin Panel → 📣 Advertising → Google Ads (admin.cenaly.ru/google-ads).
⚠️ The section is currently unavailable and is being migrated. Account connection and campaign management were built on the server routes of the old admin hosting; after the frontend moved to static delivery they stopped answering. The functionality is being moved to the platform's server functions — until then "Sign in with Google", the campaign list and the analytics in this section will not work. While the migration is in progress, run campaigns in
ads.google.comitself; the screens described below are what the section will look like afterwards.
This is not the same as Advertising & Marketing, where you just enter a Customer ID for analytics. Here you actually create and launch campaigns.
When the section is available. It is unlocked by a plan with marketing tools (advertising and SEO) — otherwise the "Google Ads" card in the App Store offers a plan upgrade. There is also a country restriction: the card is hidden if no location of the account is in a Google Ads market — the extension is unavailable in Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.
Connecting an account#
In the "Google Ads account" card, click "Sign in with Google" and grant access. After authorization, pick the ads account from the list (if you have several — e.g. your own and a client's). Manager accounts are marked with a separate badge.
The connection is made per location — switch locations in the dropdown at the top of the page. If you don't have an ads account yet, create one at ads.google.com, then come back and click "Refresh".
Campaigns tab#
The tab shows every campaign in the selected account — both those created in Meni and those created directly in Google. Each shows metrics for the last 30 days:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Status | Active · Paused · Removed |
| Budget/day | Daily spend limit |
| Impressions | How many times the ad was shown |
| Clicks | How many times it was clicked |
| CTR | Share of clicks per impressions |
| Avg. CPC | Average cost per click |
| Cost | Spent during the period |
| Conv. | Conversions |
Straight from the list you can pause, re-enable or remove a campaign. The "Open Google Ads" button takes you to the full manager for fine-tuning.
Creating a campaign#
Click "New campaign" and fill in the form:
- Name — e.g. "Lunch menu — Tbilisi".
- Daily budget — how much you're willing to spend per day.
- Duration — how many days to run it.
- Countries — ISO codes, comma-separated (e.g.
GE, AM). - Landing page URL — where the ad leads, usually your menu page.
- Keywords — one per line (e.g. "restaurant tbilisi", "khinkali delivery").
- Headlines — at least 3, up to 30 characters each. Google mixes them into the best-performing combination.
- Descriptions — at least 2, up to 90 characters each.
The campaign is created paused — no money is spent until you enable it. Review the ads in the list and activate when ready.
Analytics tab#
A performance summary for 7, 30 or 90 days — across all campaigns or a selected one:
- KPI tiles: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, CTR, average CPC.
- A daily dynamics chart (clicks / impressions / cost, your choice).
- A breakdown by campaign so you can see what works best.
The open tab is stored in the page address (?tab=campaigns or ?tab=analytics), so you can share a link to a specific tab with a colleague, and it survives a page refresh and the browser's "back" button.
