What you need to start

A POS on the serving line

A tablet or computer with a browser, or the Android app; a customer display is an optional second device.

Scales and a printer

Connect the scales and a receipt printer to the POS through the Cenaly.ru bridge. The system prices the portion by weight and prints the receipt.

The employee list

Upload a list "name, code, amount, phone" and set daily limits. At the POS the employee gives the account code; in the menu they enter phone and code.

Menu of the day and set meals

Set the days and hours dishes are shown, build set meals and fill in the recipes.

Three steps to the first order

  1. 1

    Sign up — 2 minutes

Log in with email or Google and pick your venue format. No bank card and no call with a sales manager needed to register.

  2. 2

Move your menu over without retyping

Photograph your paper menu — AI sorts the items into categories and translates them. Or upload Excel, paste a link to your website, or move the menu from Poster or GloriaFood. Check items and prices, add photos — guests will find it easier to choose.

  3. 3

Put out the QR codes and test an order

Open the menu on your phone and place a test order. Put QR codes on the tables or at the counter. To work with the POS, pick a paid plan and open it in a tablet browser.

Serving-line POS

Serving-line POS

Set meals, dishes by weight, payment from the employee account.

From opening to closing

Morning

The menu of the day opens on schedule. Employees pick a set meal on their phones and place a lunch pre-order. You reconcile orders and the production plan from subscriptions — the kitchen gets ready for the serving line.

Lunch peak

A set meal and a salad by weight on the tray. The POS works out the total, the employee sees the order on the display and gives the account code. Before charging, the system checks the balance and the daily limit.

Top-ups and control

The employer has transferred a meal advance. You top up the accounts from a list and check the daily limits. Employee spend is exported as a table — the employer sees what was spent over the period.

Scenarios come from product settings and features, not testimonials: we don't promise "+30 % to the ticket" until we have measured it at your venue.

What to consider before you start

  • The employer's access-control pass card is not read directly — the employee is identified by the account code (at the POS or in the menu by phone and code).
  • Scales connect through the bridge as POS peripherals; the list of verified models is in the hardware help — check your model before launch.
  • Exchange with 1C — synchronisation of items and counterparties over OData; there is no transfer of the allowance report to 1C yet, data is exported as a table.
  • Orders from delivery marketplaces do not yet reach the POS automatically — the integrations are being connected.
  • In the Russian contour the Finance, Statistics and guest database sections are not yet available — they run on infrastructure outside .ru.
  • Mercury (VetIS) and product marking are switched on separately in the extensions store.

Frequently asked questions

We subsidise meals. How do we keep spend within the daily limit?

Set a company-wide daily limit per employee or an individual one for a specific person. The system checks the balance and the limit before charging: at the POS by account code, in the menu by phone and code if you have allowed that payment. Nothing above the limit is charged to the account. Balance and the day's spend are visible in the table, and spend over a period can be exported.

Portions on the line vary in weight. Will the POS handle it?

Yes. Set a price by weight: the POS takes the portion weight from the scales through the bridge or accepts manual entry and works out the total. The receipt shows grams and the amount.

How do we know in advance how many lunches to cook?

Look at the lunch pre-orders and the production plan from subscriptions: they give the portion count for the day. Allow for walk-ins too — the buffer for the serving line is your call.

Do I need to buy hardware?

No. Guests open the menu on their own phones, the POS runs in a tablet or computer browser and in the Android app. Receipt and kitchen printers, scales and scanners connect through the Cenaly.ru bridge — the ordinary models you already own.

What happens if the internet drops?

The guest menu is served as static files from a CDN and will open. The POS and receipt printing through the bridge are designed to keep working during an outage and resend data once the connection is back; a fully autonomous shift on an Android tablet is still being finished — the help centre says so honestly.

Is there an annual contract or a cancellation fee?

No. The subscription is monthly or annual with a discount and is cancelled in the admin. Your menu, orders and inventory data stay yours — export is available at any time.

Can I move my menu from another system?

Yes: a photo of the paper menu, an Excel file, a link to your venue website, an export from Poster or a GloriaFood page. The move takes an evening and the old system keeps running meanwhile.

I have several locations — is that one account?

Yes. Locations live in one account: a shared menu with per-location prices, their own QR codes and opening hours, consolidated reports. The Cafe plan covers up to 3 locations, Restaurant is unlimited.
