The migration wizard moves your menu, products and stock from an old system in minutes: AI reads the export files, and all you have to do is review the result.

Where: Settings → “Switch to us” (admin.cenaly.ru).

First choose where you are coming from:

• Poster POS — with hints on which Poster screens to export from;
• Another system / any file — Loyverse, Ecwid, iiko, an Excel price list, a PDF or even a photo: the AI understands most formats;
• A live online store — Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, InSales or custom-built: imported by site URL.

Step 1 — menu and products#

Upload an export (Excel/CSV, Word, PDF, a photo of a price list) or point at your current site. The AI recognises items, prices and categories and shows an import plan you can review and correct before it is applied.

You can run the import several times with different files: existing items are matched, not duplicated.

Step 2 — stock#

The second file is stock: ingredients and goods with quantities and purchase prices.

Before importing you get a review table, and it is editable row by row: name, quantity, unit and price per unit can be corrected right in the table, the checkbox in the first column excludes a row from the import, and the action column lets you choose between creating a new product and merging the row into a specific existing stock item (a barcode match is flagged separately). If the unit differs, the quantity is converted and the row says so honestly.

As a result, missing products are created and positive stock is received as a goods receipt document — your inventory keeps a proper trail instead of stock appearing out of nowhere.

Step 3 — a live online store#

All we need is the storefront address: we read the public catalogue the way a search engine does — no passwords required.

What can be moved (via checkboxes):

• products — photos, prices, variants, characteristics, descriptions;
• articles and pages — about us, delivery, returns, blog;
• design — colours, fonts, corner radii, home page composition;
• SEO tags — titles and descriptions;
• images (skipping them makes the import much faster);
• legal documents from the source site — if it is your store and you want to keep your own texts.

Next to the checkboxes are two volume limits, and they are not empty by default: “Products limit” is 200 (50 / 100 / 200 / 500 / 1000 / 5000 / no limit) and “Pages limit” is 30 (10 / 30 / 60 / 120 / 500 / no limit). With the defaults, a store with 2000 items will only bring over the first 200 — to move the whole catalogue pick “no limit”.

You can see the current stage (“reading the sitemap”, “parsing product cards”, “creating products and pages”) and the final counters. The import runs on our servers — you can close the tab. Photos keep processing for a few more minutes after the report.

If the store serves our servers an empty page (some platforms do), switch on “Read the store with my browser”: it needs the Cenaly extension and a one-time pairing code valid for 15 minutes.

⚠️ Import only your own store, or one you have the right to move: responsibility for copied texts and images lies with the account owner.

Inspired by another store#

A separate mode for the “I want it like theirs” case: we read the public home page and list the traits you may adopt — colours, typography, element shapes, product card style, header, layout, home page composition. You tick what you want and apply it to your storefront.

Only non-protected traits are transferred. Texts, photos, logo, brand name and the products of someone else's site are not copied, and any added sections are created empty for you to fill with your own content.

What is not moved yet#

Sales history, customers and debts do not migrate automatically — keep the old system in read-only mode for reference. A dedicated scenario is coming for Loyverse (its card sits in the source list greyed out, labelled “dedicated scenario coming soon”); Ecwid has no card of its own — its files already work through the “Another system” option.

FAQ#

Do you need passwords for my old store? No. We read the public storefront. You only need your own credentials to export files from the old POS.

What happens if I import the same file twice? Items are matched with existing ones; no duplicates appear.

How long does a large store take? From a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the number of products and whether images are included. The process runs in the background.
