Mobile Apps for the Venue Team

Meni provides a set of native Android apps for all restaurant team members — from the owner and manager to the waiter, chef, and courier. The apps work using the same accounts and the same backend as the admin web panel: no separate setup is required.

💡 Guests do not need to install anything — the menu opens via a QR code in the phone's browser. Mobile apps are designed only for the venue staff.

Available Applications#

The Android applications are each tailored to their specific role. On the device, they are labeled with their respective names — Cenaly Admin, Cenaly Service, Cenaly KDS, Cenaly Courier, Cenaly POS, Cenaly Rider, Cenaly CRM; the signature is unified across all platform domains. The first four are available in the download table on this site, while Cenaly POS and Cenaly Rider are currently distributed separately — upon request to support.

1. Cenaly Admin — Menu and Venue Management#

The Cenaly Admin app is a mobile companion for the owner or manager. It provides full parity with the web dashboard in terms of menu management:

• Menu: adding and editing categories and dishes, reordering menu items, multilingual names and descriptions (supports the same languages as the web dashboard), uploading photos from the camera or gallery, AI generation and enhancement of dish images.
• Schedule and availability: marking an item as "86" (temporarily out of stock), day-of-week schedules, happy-hour rules.
• Options and modifiers: editing option groups and add-ons for a dish.
• Recipes and combos: linking components for inventory deduction.
• Tags: managing custom tags and tag categories.
• Customer QR codes: generating, editing, and sharing QR codes for tables and delivery.
• Locations: editing venue settings — name, address, contacts, operating hours, service charge type, online ordering and delivery settings, menu page appearance.
• Account and subscription: balance, pricing plan, top-up via web form.

2. Cenaly Service — Waiter and Dining Area Monitor#

The Cenaly Service app combines two operational modes in one:

"Waiter" Mode — taking orders tableside:

• Selecting a table and creating an order from the venue's menu.
• Adding options, modifiers, and comments to items.
• Adding items to an open table.
• Tracking dish status (received → preparing → ready → served).
• Payment and tips registration via the payment screen.
• "My orders" / "All orders" filter.

"Monitor" Mode — dining area overview for a manager or host:

• Real-time feed of all active orders.
• WebSocket updates and new order notifications.
• Viewing dish statuses and actions on each order.
• "Browsing now" indicator — guests viewing the menu online.

The mode is selected upon first launch and can be changed in the app settings.

3. Cenaly KDS — Kitchen Display System#

The Cenaly KDS (Kitchen Display System) app is installed on a kitchen tablet and mirrors the "Kitchen (KDS)" web screen:

• Real-time FIFO ticket queue.
• Color-escalated timers (elapsed time since order receipt).
• One-tap item status update: queued → preparing → ready.
• Batch actions: "Start all" / "Bump" ticket.
• Recalling tickets from the archive (Recall).
• Filter by stations (grill station, bar, cold station, etc.).
• Expanding combo meals into individual items.
• Sound notification for new tickets (can be muted).
• Fullscreen mode, forced landscape orientation, screen stays awake — optimal for wall mounting.

4. Cenaly Courier — In-House Courier App#

The Cenaly Courier app guides the courier through every delivery:

• Delivery list by status: new, accepted, on the way, completed.
• Step-by-step workflow: accepted → heading to restaurant → picked up order → on the way to customer → delivered.
• Proof of Delivery with photo: photo at the door, recipient, PIN code.
• Collecting cash on delivery (COD) directly upon handover.
• Navigation: route display via built-in map with route calculation.
• Live GPS tracking: courier coordinates are visible to the dispatcher in the admin web panel.
• "On duty" / "Offline" toggle.

5. Cenaly POS — Android POS Terminal#

The Cenaly POS app turns an Android device into a point-of-sale workstation:

• PIN login on a shared terminal and shift management.
• Offline database on the device: orders and receipts are processed even when offline and synchronized once the connection is restored; network status is displayed on screen.
• Integration and operation with MSPOS peripherals — built-in printer and other POS terminal hardware.

6. Cenaly Rider — Independent Contractor Courier#

Cenaly Rider is a dedicated app for freelance/contractor couriers who are not on the venue's payroll (in-house couriers continue using Cenaly Courier):

• Job board: available deliveries that the courier can claim independently.
• Self-registration with document verification and approval flow.
• Earnings and payouts, profile with rating, parcel screen.
• Login via email/password or QR, push notifications for new delivery requests.

7. Cenaly CRM — Sales and Customers#

The Cenaly CRM app is designed for sales teams and provides full parity with the web version at crm.cenaly.ru:

• Customer database (contacts, statuses, interaction history).
• Kanban-style sales pipeline — drag-and-drop deals across stages.
• Customer map with geolocation and nearby search.
• Flyers: creation, linking to customers, export to PDF.
• Business cards and leaflets — PDF export.
• Account codes — creation and management.

Download and Installation#

Staff apps are downloaded directly from this website as an Android installation file (.apk) — installation from Google Play is not required.

How to install:

1. Open the "Download for Android" link directly on the Android device — the .apk download will begin.
2. Open the downloaded file. During the first installation, Android will ask you to allow installation from this source — confirm it (a one-time setting for the browser).
3. Tap "Install" and wait for completion — the app will appear on the home screen.
4. Launch the app and log in: email/password or QR code (see below).

💡 There is no separate app for iPhone and iPad — use the admin.cenaly.ru web panel in your browser: all features are available online.

ℹ️ The Cenaly CRM app is an internal tool for the platform's sales team; it is not part of the venue download kit. Cenaly POS and Cenaly Rider are also not listed in the table above — they are provided upon request via customer support.

Logging In to Applications#

All applications use the same credentials as the admin web panel. No separate registration or separate password is required.

Login Methods#

💡 If the app does not let you in with the correct password, tap the gear icon on the login screen and explicitly select your service: by default, the device guesses the environment itself (based on the SIM card country and previous login), and while traveling or using an account on another domain, it might guess incorrectly.

QR login is the recommended method for staff (waiters, cooks, couriers): there is no need to enter an email and password on a shared device. Device login codes are generated in the web panel under QR codes → the Devices tab (which also provides step-by-step instructions for connecting a tablet or phone). The same tab shows which devices are currently connected and when each was last active.

💡 To use all apps except Cenaly Admin and Cenaly CRM, the employee must be added to the venue with the corresponding role — see the Staff section.

Frequently Asked Questions#

Do I need to create a separate account for mobile apps?#

No. Use the same email and password as for logging into admin.cenaly.ru. Waiters and other staff log in via QR login — the administrator issues them a code in the "QR codes" section, under the "Devices" tab.

Do the apps work without an internet connection?#

Part of the data (menu, open orders) is cached on the device. When the connection is lost, the apps continue to display cached data; changes are submitted once the connection is restored. We recommend testing full offline mode under the specific conditions of your venue.

How do I connect a kitchen tablet?#

Install the Cenaly KDS app on an Android tablet, log in via email/password or QR code ("Cook" role), and select the desired location. The app will automatically connect to the real-time order queue. For a stationary setup, it is recommended to enable "Keep screen on" — this is done in the device settings; the app keeps the screen active automatically.

Installation from Google Play is not required: open the link on your Android device, allow installation from this source, and tap "Install".

Are the apps available for iOS?#

Currently, the apps are developed for Android. The full functionality of the admin.cenaly.ru web dashboard is available via browser on any device, including iPhone and iPad.
