Honest about the limits

This is not legal advice: the templates follow typical rules of your country, and unusual activities are worth showing to a lawyer.
Documents update on publish: changes to the questionnaire take effect when you press “Publish”, not on their own.
The widget will not track changes in legislation for you — your site always shows the latest published version.
Until at least one document is published the widget quietly renders nothing: no empty blocks appear on your site.
Inline text inherits your page styles, so headings and lists look like the rest of your site.
On an external site this is a paid add-on; documents are free only on sites built with our website builder.

What legal pages are and when you need them

Legal pages are the privacy policy, terms of use, return and delivery conditions, cookie policy and the other documents that explain to a visitor what happens to their data and their money. They are required not only by law: ad platforms and payment providers check for them at onboarding.

Copying them from a similar site is dangerous for exactly the reason it is convenient: the other company’s details, country and obligations travel with the text. A document naming the wrong data controller protects nobody.

Here documents are assembled from your answers: country and customer countries, type of business, whether you take orders, whether you deliver, plus your company details. Every type carries a guide to whether it is mandatory and why, and publishing produces ready pages in your site’s languages that you embed with one line and never touch again.

Is this legal advice?

No. The documents follow typical rules of your country and your answers; for licensed, medical or financial activities the text is worth reviewing with a lawyer.

Which documents can I publish?

How do I embed them on Tilda or WordPress?

The same shared tag plus a container: `<div data-cenaly-legal="privacy"></div>` for the text or `<div data-cenaly-legal-links></div>` for footer links. No plugins needed, and a modal opens with `window.CenalyLegal.open()`.

How many languages will the documents have?

Your site’s languages — up to 45. The language is picked per page: an exact match first, then the publication’s main language, then the first available one.

What if my company details change?

Change them in the admin and publish the documents again: the text updates everywhere it is embedded on the site. The site code itself is never touched.

Who is responsible for the content?

You publish them as the site owner, so responsibility for the content stays with you. We provide the generator, the guidance on what is mandatory and the hosting of the ready pages.

Do I still need a cookie banner?

Yes, that is the neighbouring widget: the document describes which cookies you use, while the banner collects consent and blocks trackers until it is given. Ours is free.

Will it slow my site down?

The loader is one small `async` script; widgets load as separate bundles and only the ones you switched on. Nothing blocks page rendering.

Will it break my layout?

No. Widgets render inside a Shadow DOM: your site's CSS doesn't affect them and theirs doesn't leak out.

Which language will the widget speak?

It reads your page's `<html lang>` or a `data-lang` attribute on the tag. Built-in labels are translated into 45 languages; your own texts you write in the admin in the languages you need.

Where is the data stored?

In the cloud your account lives in: cenaly.com — AWS, cenaly.ru — Yandex Cloud in Russia. Requests, conversations and bookings stay within the brand's contour.
