Promotions, Schedules, and Working with Photos

Continuation of the copilot guide: what it does on its own, and what it launches for you across adjacent sections of the dashboard. This section also covers scenarios where the input is a smartphone camera rather than voice.

Why this matters for business. Promotions and seasonal menus are configured with rules once and then activate automatically. Meanwhile, new dishes, inventory receipts, and updated menus are added from a photo instead of manual typing.

Promotions and Special Prices#

The copilot makes quick price adjustments by voice:

Command What it does Examples
Discount by selection Changes prices for an entire selection — by percentage or fixed amount "Cocktails −20%", "All soups −2 GEL"
Revert prices Reverse adjustment using the same method "Cocktails +25%"
Stop list and visibility Hides or restores items during promotions "Hide the entire winter menu"

Meanwhile, recurring promotions — like "beer −30% on weekdays from 17:00 to 19:00" — live in rules rather than voice commands: a dish, category, custom menu, or selection has a happy hour window with a percentage or fixed price by days of the week. Set it up once — from then on, the price updates automatically and consistently across the digital menu, POS, and promo displays. Details — Schedule and Happy Hour.

Discount codes, automatic discounts, gift cards, and free delivery thresholds are handled by a separate engine: Commerce.

Schedules: seasonal menu, lunch, holidays#

What you need Where to configure it
"Breakfast until 12:00 only", "bar after 22:00" Schedule on a dish, category, or custom menu — Schedules and Happy Hour
"Summer menu until September 30" Same schedule on a custom menu, plus "archive" status after the season
"January 1 is a day off", "December 31 open until 4 AM" Copilot sets up a schedule exception by voice: "January 1 day off"
"Mon–Fri from 9 to 23" Location opening hours — also by voice

Example scenario. Before holidays, the manager dictates: "December 31 we're open until 4 AM, January 1 is a day off." Copilot shows exactly what will change in the schedule, and after confirmation, saves the exceptions — guests see the correct opening hours in the menu for those dates.

Combos and Sets#

Combo sets (“soup + main + drink at a fixed price”) are configured in the item card on the “Composition” tab (🧂): a bundle of several dishes with a shared total price, including showcase “build-your-own” combos with slots and surcharges. Copilot opens the required card by name — then the bundle contents are assembled with the mouse.

Item types such as “service”, “raw material”, “material”, and “packaging” do not have a composition, and the tab is not displayed for them.

Photo → Data#

Three scenarios where the input is a photo and the output is ready-to-use data. All three live in their respective dashboard sections, and the copilot helps you navigate to them.

Scenario What happens Where
Paper menu photo → menu items AI reads photos of the menu: categories, dishes, descriptions, prices; marks already existing items so the import updates them instead of duplicating AI scanner button in the Menu section
Invoice photo → stock-in AI recognition of invoice line items, matching with the item catalog, and a ready-to-use inventory receiving document Inventory
Floor plan photo → layout A snapshot of a hand-drawn plan turns into a layout of tables, walls, bar, and doors Floor Plan

Dish Photo: Generate and Roll Back#

The dish card has its own photo factory: ready-made AI shots from a shared pool ("Ready AI images" — pictures already generated for similar prompts, available for free without generating anew), AI generation of a new shot, AI enhancement of an existing one, and short video generation. Background removal is done in the flyer editor or promotional display editor and saved back to the dish card — from there, both editors can reuse it. Every version is saved — you can revert to a previous one in one click, including by voice:

AI generation of a new shot is currently not working for all brands: some accounts receive a "Failed to create job" error instead of an image. The cause is on our side, and a fix is in progress; other photo factory tools (ready-made shots, enhancement, version history) are unaffected.

Command What it does Examples
Photo history Shows previous versions of the dish image "Show photo history for khachapuri"
Restore version Rolls back the photo to the selected version "Restore the previous photo of khachapuri"

Industry-specific voice templates#

Copilot understands industry slang — no need to speak "technical" language:

Slang What it means
"[dish] is out", "no [dish]" Add to stop list
"[dish] is back", "[dish] arrived", "serving [dish] again" Remove from stop list
"guests shouldn't order this, but don't remove it from the menu" Stop list, not hiding the item

Kitchen "86" is also available in the product, but not as a voice phrase, rather as an "86" button next to the item on the POS and in the menu: clicking it opens the choice "stop now / until the end of the day / until tomorrow", clicking again removes the stop.
