Do I have to sell anything?

No. A recommendation and a contact are enough. You are welcome to join the conversation, but it is not required.

What if the client has already talked to you?

Then they are already our contact and no reward applies. That is why it is better to send the contact before the first conversation.

Can I switch to the agent model later?

Yes, at any time — if you decide to run the deals yourself and earn a share of the payments.
