This checklist tracks the employer obligations under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA) and the conditions attached to work passes issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

7. LEVY 7.1. Levy rate and GIRO arrangement 7.2. It is a criminal offence under the EFMA for the employer to deduct levy from, or seek a kickback of the levy from, the employee's salary.

8. HOUSING AND SALARY COMPLIANCE 8.1. Housing: Housing compliance check 8.2. Salary paid vs IPA: Salary paid matches declared IPA salary

9. ON TERMINATION 9.1. The work pass must be cancelled within 1 week after the employee's employment ends, with repatriation arranged where required (for Work Permit holders, at the employer's expense).
