This record is maintained under the Employment (Employment Records, Key Employment Terms and Pay Slips) Regulations 2016, which require employers to keep employee records, salary records, hours-of-work records (for employees covered by Part IV), and leave records — for 2 years while the employee remains employed, and for 1 year after the employee leaves — and to produce them to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) on request, including unannounced inspections.
