Since 1 July 2025, a Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) directive requires every restaurant menu — physical and online, including delivery-aggregator listings — to disclose, per item: calories, a "salt shaker" icon for high-sodium dishes, the caffeine content of beverages, the estimated physical activity time needed to burn off the item, and allergens.
