Under Article 11 of the Código del Trabajo (CT), any modification to the individual employment contract must be agreed IN WRITING, on the back of the original contract or in a separate document, and signed by BOTH parties. 1.2. ⭐ 2026 CONTEXT: this type of anexo is being used industry-wide to record the transition to the 42-hour workweek that took effect 26.04.2026 under Ley 21.561 (Ley de 40 horas). 1.3. Under Article 11, subsection 2 CT, remuneration must be actualised in the written text of the contract at least once a year — this anexo may also be used for that purpose.
